Real American Hero

Hey party people,

So the moon landing 40th anniversary happened the other day. I thought I would take a moment to mention them, as they are true American heros. Recently it has come to my attention that Buzz Aldrin is way more awesome than I thought, so he will be the focus of this post.

So if you didn't know (and if you didn't stop reading this) Buzz Aldrin is a former astronaut who walked on the moon with Neil Armstrong. Buzz is credited with being the second man on the moon, however, the lunar lander carries two people so really they were both ON the moon at the same time. Neil Armstrong just got out first. so they got out and walked around and stuck an American flag into the lunar soil, brought some rocks and things home with them, and are immortalized forever in American culture.

After the lunar landing, and the many repeated landings, some people have begun to accuse the United Stated government of making it all up. They say that the astronauts are liars and that none of it happened. According to them it is a conspiracy and they work hard to "reveal" this lie to the American people.

So no let me take you to a sunny day September 25th 2002, Buzz Aldrin has been tricked by filmmaker Bart Sibrel, (really a grown man going by the name Bart, really?) into coming to be interviewed for a tv show. It isn't a tv show it is Bart's crazy conspiracy theory movie and Buzz gets annoyed and leaves. Then they next day as Buzz leaves his hotel, Bart approaches him to "interview" him some more. Bart calls says some things at which point Buzz said, "Will you get away from me?"

Bart then does what all great reporters do he insulted him. Now let me pause for a moment and tell you more about Buzz. He is a graduate of West Point, he was involved in air combat during the Korean war receiving the Distinguished Flying Cross, he has a doctoral degree from MIT, he is credited with creating the docking sequences still currently in use by NASA, and he was the first man to successful complete a space walk. He holds 3 patents and owns his own company that designs rockets. Also he walked on the MOON! So I would imagine that he is proud of himself.

Ok back to September 26th, Bart Sibrel walks up to Buzz and begins questioning him. Buzz asks him to get away. Bart says, "You're a coward, a liar, and a thief." Well I'm not sure if he says thief. He clearly says "thi..." but you can't hear the rest in the video clip. Want to know why? Buzz Aldrin PUNCHES HIM IN THE FACE!!!! Now talk about an American Hero! I'm not kidding. The 74 year old Aldrin just socks this jerk right in the kisser. Don't believe me? watch the video for yourself (see below). When I saw this it just made my day. America needs more men like Buzz Aldrin. Every time I see this I just laugh. Hooray for Buzz Aldrin and Hooray for America!
