Ginny Weasley and the hair cut

On July 13th I am boarding a plane to fly across the country so I can go to a job interview! woohooo. I am excited.

In preparation I went to super cuts to get a super cut so I can impress my (hopefully) future employer. I can't leave anything to chance. I have to say it is quite the super cut, it has heat vision and super strength (and I would think that is a good deal for only $15).

Anyway the girl who cut my hair had red hair, I never got her name but I decided that her name was most likely Ginny Weasley. I enjoy getting my hair cut by a woman vs a man. Men have big hands and aren't as gentle when cutting your hair. Women have smaller hands and have a more delicate touch. anyway it was nice.

In other news let's talk about Jeanna Jameson. She is a porn star who has gotten off her back and is now behind the scenes (oh that sounds dirty) and now she is becoming a titan of the porn industry (kind of like what P Diddy or Jay Z or Zach Braff did in their own respective industries). Jeanna Jameson thinks of her self as a role model to young girls because she is becoming a successful business woman in a male dominated field. and while she currently makes an insane amount of money opening strip clubs and whatever else she does to make money, I still can't picture her as a role model. I mean she is a person who, in my opinion, can never have the same dignity as say Jay-Z and here is why... Jay-Z is a rapper turned producer/ king of his industry. Jeanna Jameson is a whore. I mean the bulk of her career was spent naked, and involved lots of things that won't be mentioned here but I'm sure you get the point. Now there is something to be said for strong independent women who forge a path for all women in their industries, but some industries lack dignity.

My Mom (who is made out of awesome) pioneered a way for women in the Boy Scouts of America. She was a very active volunteer in a male dominated organization. She won service awards and did lots of cool things like creating a Mom and Me camp outing for mothers of cub/boy scouts. So she provided a service to make society better while being one of the few women in her geographical area of the country to do so. So that is respectable. that is something to model yourself after.

Jenna Jameson, yeah she blazes a trail in a male dominated society, yeah she makes money doing it, but at the end of the day she will always be remembered as a ho. All of her accomplishments are as a business woman in an industry to degrades women are crap. I mean as a human being I am insulted that she thinks of herself as a role model for anyone. My Mom is a role model and is clearly a very classy lady, Jenna Jameson is trash and I would tell her where should could stick this notion of role model however I'm quite certain she knows about every place something can be stuck (oh that was incredibly mean and kind of disgusting).

Anyway that was my little rant. If you want to be a role model make sure you do something admirable.
